Caring for our adults

Our goal is to prevent people from losing their independence by supporting them to live their own lives as they want to. In some circumstances, of course, this is not possible and we are here to help these people to do the things they cannot do, either due to advancing years or disability of some sort.
We also provide services for people who care for others.
Some of our services are free and available to all those over 18. Some of our services are not free and you may need to have an assessment to get access to them.
We hope that you will find all the information you need to be able to access our services so that we can support you to live a full and active life.
For Emergency Social Services ring (01302) 796000. The service is available from 5.00pm in the evening until 8.30 am the following morning during the week with 24 hour cover at weekends and Bank Holidays, including Christmas Day.
